i have a worksheet with a blank unit circle and i had to give the measures in both radians and degrees. so i i finished the unit circle but i'm having trouble with the next problem. there is another blank unit circle and i'm suppose to give each angle going clockwise in radians and degrees. i know that clockwise means negative but how do i do this?unit circle question? can someone please help me!?
in no way am i asking you to do my all my homework for me, but i have two questions on a review worksheet for a test coming up that i have absolutely no idea how to solve. i have attached a picture of the two problems (19 and 20). it shows the angle on the unit circle(-945 for the first problem and -390 for the second) and wants me to find sec theta for 19 and cos theta for 20. can you please explain what you had to do to find your answers? i want to do great on the upcoming test and if i can figure out how you solved these, i can apply that in the future. once again, thank you!in the unit circle, how to get y values?
example, in this worksheet for homework: http://i39.tinypic.com/dbgp5c.png i understand how to find the radians, and i understand how to find cos(x) using the equation and v=sin(x), but how do i find values for v? like the worksheet has an example where v=1/2, how did they get that? i searched and i can't really find how they got it, is it by using the pythagoras theorem? someone please hel.
